Jack the fish

The little fish, Jack, lived his life in comfort. He stays in a small ring of rocks and sea urchans where the water is warm all year round and everything he ever wanted was there! He has great friends that shares many common interest! They always hung out and do fishy stuff together. For a long time Jack has been living in contentment with his group of closely nit friends. But at the same time, he noticed other fishes outside of the small ring he is living in! They were moody, scary and unhappy looking fishes!

One day, when Jack was out swimming with his buddies, something outside the small ring caught his attention. A big red crab was hunting down the fishes! From far, the crab's eyes looked like horns sticking out the head!

In jack's little fish heart, a voice boomed "Get out and help them Jack!"
He was taken aback by the voice and began to argue with it.

Jack: "They are scary fishes!!!"
But are they as scary as that crab out there?
Jack: "They may not like me!!!"
But they sure would like you more than that crab out there!
Jack: "I am scared! The waters out there are cold!"
But they have been living out there for so long and they aren't frozen!
Come on, flip your fins and take the first flip! Swim out there and reach them!
Jack: "I am comfortable here! When they come in things will change!!!"
But think about it, what is more important? Their lives? Your comfort?
Sometimes, you have to swim out of your zone of comfort to save a fish.

And with a shout, Jack swam out of the small ring with full speed without another thought into the cold and unfamiliar water. His friends stared with mouth wide open as Jack approached the mean looking fishes one after another! Some of the fishes pushed him away and showed him mean looks and pointed their middle fins at him but he did not yield! He carried on spreading the good news, telling them about the small ring he was living in and how good it is, free from the big red crab!

Due the Jack's courage, fishes started to come into the ring! After sometime, they had to expand the ring to include more fishes! After seeing Jack's brave "Die hard" action, his buddies began to swim out and reach even more fishes! Every fish in the ring rejoice as more fishes started gathering! After knowing them, the fishes did not seem mean at all!

The big red cab slammed its claws with anger on the ground as he know one crab is impossible to go against millions of fishes gathered together as one. He was defeated.

Till this day, Jack and the fishes are still reaching out to fishes not saved from the crab's reach.

All it took was one fish to make the first little swim out of the zone.
