suitable shoe
Derek is a little boy who love shoes. He has a loving father which always nags at him to only find the right shoe for his feet!
"There are many beautiful and nice looking shoes out there but keep in mind that not all fits your feet!" He would say.
Derek's father is a professional when it comes to shoes since his job is a shoe maker. However, Derek does not always listen to professional advices. Occasionally, he would come across shoes that catches his breath. He tries his best to get his hands on that shoe without putting into consideration if the shoe fits. After spending much time and finance, he would either get the shoe or get depressed. Depressed from failure to get the shoes.
If he have the shoe in his possession, Derek would shower love and care over it. But when an unsuitable shoe is wore on your feet, over time it brings discomfort and pain to the feet. Derek's way of handling such situation was to just part ways with the shoe. Sometimes a week, sometimes a month, sometimes 3 months. Over all, none of the time spent was more than half a year on one shoe. Then he would search for others shoes and spends time, effort, and finance to gain possession. The cycle goes on and on.
Derek gets shoes just for the sake of having something on his feet. It would not only damage the feet in due time. Insteadn of a mind set of "I want to get shoes so that I can wear it forever!" it slowly became "I am just gonna throw it away after awhile!". He could never enjoy a pair of shoe partly due to the pain in his feet, partly due to his mindset.
One day, Derek's father pointed out to him a pair of shoe which really caught his attention in an instant. The size, shape, curves, fits around his feet like a glove! Although he got the shoe, as hard as he tries, he could not enjoy the shoe to the fullest. All the past hurts on his feet and mental barriers prevented that.
Over dinner, the father asked Derek if he is enjoying his new shoe.
"Are you enjoying your new shoe son?"
"Its hard dad. I know this shot is perfect for me but past experiences always makes me feel as if the shoe may hurt me again. Sometimes I'm even afraid to wear it..."
"Did I not warned you when you were younger?"
"Yeah... You did..."
"Remember I told you to wait for the right shoe? But you allowed yourself to be attached to other shoes! It not only does damage to yourself BUT you also did damages to the shoes.
"I'm sorry dad..."
"I am a shoe maker and I will not let one go shoeless! For i always say - He who finds a suitable shoe finds a good thing!"

SHOE ANALOGY? hmmm
You dun try you will never find the right shoe and size for you. WHY? different people different likings different taste. In fact how one gets his/her shoe doesn't equate how the whole world must follow that way. You dun get the same shoe from the same shop. If we do then might as well strip off the brain and just move along like robots in factory.
But of course practice sane-ly choices. If you're a guy with high-arch feet you dun get a shoe for flat-footed people vise versa.
Neither a guy wears a high-heel shoe. Get the drift?
But of course in the real world, to get a REAL SHOE for ya feet that would bring comfort, support in the way one walk and stands would cost some money. Last time I went to MS and the shoe cost me $180 just because one side is high-arch and the other is something else which I cannot remember. (I got different feet!!!!). And mind you, thats a pair of working shoes -_-"
dude!
u totally didnt get the whole story!
dont read by the surface!

Its about finding the right partner in life.
hahaha dude, see my point @ Joanna's comment. If it's deeper share a bit more la
besides, some actually go shoe less throughout their life ;op
Choice Choice Choice
so what happen to those who are Fatherless or only know the Father at the later stage? they have already gone thru the leg aching experiences and damaged the shoes that they chose earlier on. they were adviced only after they know the Father but then they have already been hurt and damaged other shoes.
here is one who doesn't obey the Father but what bout those who didn't get to know the Father or those who know the Father only at the later stage?
that, my friend
will be another story!
the stories are not an all situation compatible thing.
if u desire those, the bible is ur best friend.
and who are you! at least leave ur name if u wanna ask this kind of questions! dont worry, i wont throw eggs at ur face!
You and your attention-seeking never change
Dear Anonymous,
Please refrain from giving unconstructive comments such as the one you've just given. This is a blog where we can discuss about various issues so quit guessing the intentions of the author. If you got nothing good to say den I suggest you dont say it.
i just want to say that the 2nd anonymous is not me.
then who are you?
relax, no eggs throwing.
By putting "You and your attention-seeking never change"
you've already labeled a person and had openly hurt another. If you think that this is necessary then I do suggest that some reflection is needed. But meanwhile, allow me to label you as "Anonymous Attention Seeker with an issue"
Sidenote:
For everyone to know. There's never such a thing called anonymous surfing or blogging etc. Everything is tracked and recorded in our ISP (Singnet / Starhub) and further broadcast to other telecos in the world. In fact some of these telcos open up their database for people to query information (brief not detail ones). In fact they are required to hold such information for a duration of 7 years and recent months they are asked to prepare to be ready for a change in policy to hold such data for 10-14years.

YET ANOTHER WONDERFUL STORY MY FRIEND!
Yipeedoo.
:))))))))))
nope... not afraid of your egg throwing. just that i prefer to speak without you knowing who i am.
sometimes when you know the person, you tend to judge what the person meant based on what you know about the person instead of what the person really intend to say. as such, i prefer to stay anonymous. ^^
hahah glad!
great idea!

anonymous1 (:
it's brave of you to raise this up! is it personal? anw, i think it's alright if you've hurt other shoes in the past.. like you said. it's the past (: besides, i'm sure it wasnt intentional.. God died on the cross for you and has already forgiven you for whtever you did. so you shld forgive yourself too (: we all make mistakes. and we learn from them.. so it's alright! (: the more impt thing is that God heals you of your past hurts so you can cont looking for the perfect shoe he has made for you! :D
wow...
im good for my popping of stories from thin air
