believe, have faith in God
hey qigebage, i just can't wait to share this testimony with you peeps, God is really good!
remember there was a time i asked you people to pray for two of my ones, a prodigal and a pre-believer who had bad experiences at churches? perhaps you don't, but i definitely do. be assured that God answers prayers, He is always there, listening to you, watching and examining you from up above! HE ANSWERED MINE!
The first one was one I had been praying for since '03. YES, 5 years(time flies?) She is a darl, very close to me, one that has been with me through a lot. and yes, she believed in God. so yeah, she went to church with her family... that was until God brought her earthly father back home. it was a difficult time, but God is always good, providing for even the sparrows that we don't really care to think about. time passed, and she stopped going to church and started walking away. 'oh, im too busy', 'i have tuition leh', 'no time, must finish homework', 'i want to sleep, it's the weekends!', 'aiya, not important, church can always go but then PSLE is big exam, must study' 5 years past, but God definitely did not forget her, His beloved child. on the 8th of March this year, she rededicated her life to Christ. PRAISE THE LORD! it's really, seriously, super duper encouraging to see her so passionate and on fire for GOD again! How great is our God!
Now to the second one:D haha, this one is also a darl, definitely. she is one who has not accepted Christ yet, but will, because God has assured me. in the past, she went to church as a prebeliever to not one, but various churches but did not receive Christ as her personal Lord and Saviour. why? she felt left out, excluded. you may say, 'let's extend _ a warm welcome into the family of Christ!', but in actions, not extend a warm welcome at all, but a reluctant('like so extra lah!), fake smile like 'oh hello!' *smile* and next thing, you're back to stone mode with your clique, your group, like 'oh, this is my group, we only hang out with ourselves'. how inclusive indeed. that's why it's important to be inclusive, like really, inclusive. not oh, uh, you're weird~ i don't know you, don't hang out around here, it's our grounds, our territory, rwar. so, really thank God lah, finally, she went to one of my friends' church (though not VFC) recently with my friend. after the youth service, i have to say, she was a new person indeed. she changed. the sermon did impact her a lot. she was convicted that she was a lying stealing murderer, she crucified Christ because she was sinful and Christ was flawless, perfect and bore all of her sin and shame and took it all. she confessed she needed God, that without God, she is and would be nothing. also, before that, she began reading the Bible, getting addicted to reading it (wow! spiritual food, yummy). so now, im still praying for her to accept Jesus as her personal Lord and Saviour, to let God be the no.1 in her life as she hasnt yet, perhaps because she's still learning to let go and let God. I am assured, GOD WILL MAKE A WAY! everything is in His hands! He has a plan for every single one! so yeah, THANK YOU, JESUS!
you see, love, really, is eternal. God is love, God is eternal! He will never let you go no matter what! ALL GLORY, HONOUR AND PRAISE TO OUR ALMIGHTY GOD, WHO WAS, IS AND IS TO COME!
