scarecrow

Under the sun the scarecrow stood.
Guarding the crops as he always did.
Mr Scarecrow stared at the scenary which he had been staring at for his entire life.
He had hoped day after day that he could break free from the wooden pole that held him in place.
Efforts of him trying to break free reached the ears of the crows and they took pity on him.
The crows assisted Mr Scarecrow in his escape but was fruitless, so the crows flew over mountains and rivers in search of help.
A wise old baboon was summoned from the forest and brought infront of Mr scarecrow.

Mr Scarecrow: "Would you help me?"
Baboon: "Only if your desire falls in range of my abilities."
Mr Scarecrow: "Please help me break free from this place..."
Baboon: "I see in your heart a strong hope of breaking free but your faith and passion is not in place."
Mr Scarecrow: "O wise baboon! Please enlighten me! Tell me what to do!!"
Baboon: "Have faith in what you are doing! Faith holds power beyond imagination!"
Mr Scarecrow: "I... I do not understand..."
Baboon: "Do things believing you will succeed and not wanting to succeed! You feel me?"

With that last words the baboon departed from Mr Scarecrow, leaving him to meditate on the baboon's words.
After much thought, Mr Scarecrow gathers the crows.
As the crows fixed their eyes on him, he recalled and followed the words of the baboon.
He did the similar stuff as he did everytime he wishes to breakfree but this time, all the bonds and ropes fell off instantly!
With tears in his eyes he ran like the wind and out of the farm.
The crows was dumb founded after witnessing such a miracle.

Thank You QiGeBaGe for the wonderful thanksgiving gathering yesterday at Lucien's. The committee outdid themselves with the dangling blue stars, I was observing them closely and I noticed they even went into details like putting glitter glue outlines (nifty!) and further more, stealing borrowing a star from Cold Storage. Lucien's pretty funny too, scurrying around the house, making sure everything was organized and alright for us (don't you think that I forgot you!) Food was not bad, I didn't get to try the shepherd's pie though, the honeydews in the potato salad was scrumptious, the cold ham was good (i missed ham) and the chunky pasta was fun to eat (i missed pasta too).

So, I'll be in the civilian world up till Tuesday. I really missed all of you! Seeing familiar smiling faces during the party was very comforting (especially when you compare to what kind of black faces I see in camp). I was reflecting on 2006 when Grace was talking during the party and truly, this year has been a challenging roller-coaster ride. But I guess I am really glad that I have been found by Jesus (eventually) and where I am now, is really a turn around from what I was in the beginning of this year. Jesus loves us beyond the wreckage of our lives to what we might become. In this year, I learnt to love my family, I learnt to love God (and still learning), I got to discover more about myself, and of course, I got to know so many beautiful people (yes, you included) and even to play a part in your precious lives. God has blessed me with peace, hope and much much love.

I am thankful, and

I missed you all. And I love you all.

THANKSGIVING PARTY

Dear QiGeBaGe family, this is an IMPORTANT MESSAGE to EVERYONE or rather all the youths in the region lar.. K k.. back to seriousness The theme for dressing is Glitz and Glamour k. Please try to like keep to the attire cause then it would be fun? So please dress like whoever or whatever you want to be.. Glitz and Glamour all right.. Or even like as long as u look glitzy and glamourous you can look like yourself.. All in the name of fun k ppl.. People please try your best to come cause it's like Xmas bash too and it could bond all of us even more though we all like quite close between ourselves alreadi.. There will be great food and games will be played..

It would start around 5.30 and would end about 10.30 and remember to dress up hor...
The time to meet for all those we are taking public transport is 4.15 at kallang mrt and for all those who daddy and mummy have car and is fetching them there, the address is 9 winborne road...Its behind Lasalle SIA Art school...Be there around 5 la..
For all those bringing food, can u all be there by 4.45..

And there will be an gift exchange... More then 3 dollars and less then 7 dollars....Remember to bring something hor... must be unisex one..
And if anyone has torchlight, can u bring it pls and remember to label it!!
And to all those who has drink dispenser, if u wanna lend us, can u bring it to... before that can call me(Johnson) to confirm...thanks lots!!

ON CHRISTMAS DAY

happy birthday Jesus!

after the performance at tamp and sembawang, we all decided to head down to sun plaza. then we ate at this carona place.
NEVER EAT THEIR SPAGATTI. rip off man. it is D-I-S-G-U-S-T-I-N-G.
after shawn left, we were bored.
many suggested to watch a movie.
but in the end, we slacked at coffee bean as usual.. for about five mins.
then God gave ces a wonderful idea..

BOWLING.
rocks man.
but beware, noobs who call themselves pro and pros who call themselves noobs are LINGERING in our midst..
like them.
they claim to be the pros.. but looks like they cant even get a 150/300 pass.. haha. but not bad for noobs la. i think they should be promoted to PRO NOOBS.
